Texas Man Arrested for Sexual Exploitation of Hillsboro Minor

Hillsboro Police Chief Patrick Clark announced that on September 11th 2023, at around 1:50pm, the Hillsboro Police Department was informed about a minor who resides in Hillsboro, being sexually exploited on social media sites, the Hillsboro Police Department identified the suspect as 17 year old Pablo Lee Jimenez Cruz of Longview, Texas. The Hillsboro Police Department was assisted in the investigation and subsequent apphrension of the suspect by the Vernon County Sheriff’s Department, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, Hillsboro Area School District, and the Longview Police Department. Authorities in Texas executed a search warrant at the suspects residence and took Pablo Lee Jimenez Cruz into custody, in addition numerous electronic devices were also seized.  Through this investigation it was further discovered that there were other victims in Illinois and New York.

Authorities stated that Jimenez Cruz will be charged as an adult in Texas. The investigation is still under investigation, with all the Hillsboro reports transferred to the Longview Police Department.  Hillsboro and the Vernon County Sheriff’s Department will also be referring charges locally on this suspect with the assistance of the Vernon County District Attorney’s Office.

2024 Monroe County Dairy Breakfast to be Held Near Kendall

 
The 2024 Monroe County Dairy Breakfast hosts will be the Craig & Kathy Witt and Eric & Lisa Witt of Witt Family Farm.
The dairy address is 27432 Midway Ave! The Witt’s began milking with their Lely Astronaut Robot milking system in March of 2023.
The breakfast will be held on June 1, 2024!
The Monroe County Dairy Committee wishes to thank the Witt Family for hosting this year’s event on their lovely farm just off Cty Hwy V which turns off State Hwy 71 on the top of the hill between Kendall and Wilton.

Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash in Adams County

 
On Friday March 29, 2024, at approximately 10:52 AM, The Adams County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call advising of a two vehicle accident, involving a truck and a semi with injuries in the area of STH 13 and CTH K, Township of Dell Prairie, Adams County, WI.
Arriving deputies and first responders attempted to gain access to the driver of the truck but, due to the significant damage, were unable to do so. Kilbourn Fire Department arrived with extrication equipment and extricated the driver of the truck. Dells-Delton EMS personnel, along with first responders, attempted life saving measures on the driver. Arrangements were made for a Medflight medical helicopter to respond and land near the accident scene. Deputies were informed by EMS personnel that the driver and sole occupant of the truck succumbed to his injuries before being transferred to the medical helicopter. The driver of the truck was identified by his Wisconsin Driver’s License as Shannon Deshannon, age 50 of Wisconsin Dells, WI.
The initial investigation revealed the semi was traveling southbound on STH 13 and the truck was traveling northbound on STH 13. The truck crossed the centerline into the southbound lane of travel. The semi driver attempted to avoid the truck by going towards the west shoulder of the roadway but the truck continued into the southbound lane of travel and collided with the semi.
This crash remains under investigation and no further information will be released at this time. The Wisconsin State Patrol’s Technical Reconstruction Unit (TRU) responded to the scene and conducted a reconstruction of the scene.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Adams County Medical Examiner’s Office, Wisconsin Dells Police Department, Kilbourn Fire Department, Dells-Delton EMS, Adams County Highway Department, Medflight, Zeman’s Towing, Harper’s Towing and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
