Morris, Rose Ann age 90 of Mauston

Rose Ann (Landuyt) Morris, age 90, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on her family’s farm in Seven Mile Creek (Lyndon Station, Wisconsin) on May 10, 1935, Rose learned the values of hard work, resilience, and devotion from an early age. At seventeen, determined to finish high school during a time when many did not, she moved to Mauston, Wisconsin—an early sign of her strength and independence.

Though she once dreamed of becoming a high school physical education teacher, love and destiny shaped a different path. At a community dance, she met the love of her life, Thomas M. Morris. They married on June 26, 1954, beginning a partnership rooted in deep loyalty and unshakeable faith. Together they welcomed six beautiful children: Anita, John, Sharon, Bob, Lynelle, and Terrie.

In 1961, Rose and Tom bought the family home that remains filled with memories to this day, along with a cherished lake lot that became the heart of countless celebrations, debates, stories, and moments of joy and sorrow. Rose was a woman of profound faith—a devout Catholic whose belief in God guided her through life’s greatest blessings and hardest trials. The only thing larger than her faith was her fierce love for her family. She protected her people with a fire unmatched, yet supported us all with softness through every one of life’s curveballs. Those who tested her patience quickly learned her famous word: “Perch.”

Rose endured losses that would have broken lesser spirits. After Tom passed away at just 40 years old, she raised their six children on her own—holding the family together with grit, humor, and unwavering determination. She worked tirelessly, becoming one of the town’s most well-known and beloved bartenders until her retirement. In March of 2006, she lost her son, Robert “Big Bob” Morris. Though she carried that grief in her heart, she continued showing up for her family with strength, steadiness, and love.

A woman full of talents and passions, Rose lived a life rich with friendships, community, and creativity. She bowled on a league, tended gardens with the skill of a master gardener, and brought antique furniture back to life with her gifted hands. She cooked and canned with unmatched expertise. Her apple pies, chicken and dumplings, cinnamon rolls, popcorn, and Pepsi, along with her incredible sweet toothwill be remembered fondly by all who gathered at her table.

Her sayings“Love a Duck,” “Good God Gerty” became part of the family vocabulary, adding humor and levity to the toughest days. When she was once gifted a truck with the license plate “Earned It,” it couldn’t have been more fitting. Rose truly did earn every ounce of love, admiration, and respect she received throughout her long and beautiful life.

Rose is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Morris; her son, Robert “Big Bob” Morris; her parents, Germaine M. (Maddens) and Joseph H. Landuyt; and her sisters, Mary Louise Landuyt and Alice R Schyvinch.

She is survived by her children: Anita (Phil) Czajka, John (Jeanne) Morris, Sharon Morris, Lynelle (Gary) Asberry, and Terrie (Fred) Hollenbeck; her 16 grandchildren; and her 23 great-grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of her legacy forward. Her daughter in law Sashi Singh-Morris, sister Elizabeth Mitchell of Reedsburg and brother John (Dolly) Landuyt of Mauston and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Crandall Funeral A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Mauston with burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lyndon Station.

Rose lived a life marked by love, loyalty, tenacity, and faith. She leaves behind a family shaped by her strength and deeply grateful for the many memories she gave us. Her spirit, wisdom, and humor will continue to guide us—her next Thanksgiving will be spent reunited with those she has dearly missed.

Born on April 21, 1941, in the vibrant city of Chicago, Illinois, Vivien was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her. Her final days were spent surrounded by the warmth and comfort of her home in New Lisbon, Wisconsin, where she passed away after a valiant battle with a lengthy illness.

As the beloved wife of Orlando Bellini, Vivien’s unwavering commitment to her family was evident in every facet of her life. She was a devoted mother to Elizabeth Andrews (Robert), Edward Plada (Miranda), Joseph Bellini (Katherine), Theresa Wilson (Daniel), Michelle Napoleone (Steven), and her cherished daughter Desiree Bellini. Her legacy of love continued with her role as a doting grandmother to Tiva, Emma, Atticus, Danielle (Wade), Ahria, Christian (Courtney), Alex (Alexis), Michelle, Robert, Colin, Marissa, Isabelle, Tobias, and Haley. The family tree further blossomed as she embraced the joy of being a great-grandmother to Vincent, Coen, Laken, Lumen, Tulsi, Claymore, Clyde, and Kanoa. Vivien’s journey through life was marked by her dedication to serving others. She attended Tuley High School in Chicago and later continued her education at UW Platteville (Baraboo Sauk County). Her professional life was a testament to her caring spirit, as she opened her heart and home as a foster mother to many. She also worked as an Educational Aid at Cooperative Educational Service Agency 5, where she supported the growth and development of countless students. Her protective nature led her to a position as a Deputy Sheriff, where she specialized in domestic situations, particularly those involving children. Vivien’s love for children was also reflected in her role as a Cub Scout Den Mother, guiding young minds towards a bright future.             A woman of deep Christian faith, Vivien exemplified the love of Christ in her daily actions and interactions. She found solace and joy in baking and cooking, especially during the holidays, when she would share her delicious creations with family and friends. Her green thumb was evident in her beautifully tended gardens of flowers and vegetables, and she took great pride in canning fruits and vegetables, as well as making jellies and jams. Vivien was also gifted in arts and crafts, with talents that ranged from pottery making to candle making and painting. Her artistic abilities were not just a personal passion but also a means of connecting with children, as she generously gave her time to work on various art projects with them.

Vivien’s life was one of interesting journeys, loving moments, and courageous battles. Her strength and compassion were a source of inspiration to everyone she met. As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the remarkable life of Vivien Joan Bellini—a woman who touched the lives of many and whose spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Ronald Francis (Storm) Pufall, age 83, of Weston, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 10, 2025. Ron was born on May 22nd, 1942 in Ashland, WI, and was the son of the late Nicholas and Esther (Michalski) Pufall. He was the oldest of three boys. He attended and graduated from high school in Ashland and earned his degree in education at Northland College in Ashland. A lover of both art and learning, he additionally earned his master’s degree from UW La Crosse and enjoyed a long career in education, teaching art, middle school science, and serving as a reading specialist.

Ron was a skilled craftsman and somewhat of a “Macgyver,” able to creatively engineer many things. He renovated, expanded, and even built his family home in 1987.

Ron was blessed to have loved deeply, twice. He married Carmen Jean Roy on June 10, 1967 and built a full life together, primarily in Adams – Friendship, enjoying travel, social, music, and church events at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, and the Sand County Players productions. Together, they had a son, Tad, in 1969, and daughter Christie in 1970. He lovingly cared for Carmen through her Stage 4 breast cancer until her passing in 2015.

In 2020 he met Kathryn “Kay” Storm. The two became each other’s partner and best friend and were united in marriage on October 10, 2021, in Wausau. She survives. Ron and Kay continued to enjoy his love of music, travel, and adventure.

He was an incredibly talented musician, being fluent on the keyboard, guitar and piano. Ron spent several years at the Ole Miss Amateur Rag Contest in Oxford, Mississippi, and performed a beloved original, “Kathryn”. He had also attended the Mt. Morris jam sessions. Ron was truly gifted and would write the most heartfelt songs. Ron and Kay would look forward to traveling the country, and going on camping trips together. He was an intelligent, kind and thoughtful man, who was delightfully laid back and easy going. Ron had a love for popcorn, and eating corn on the cob! He enjoyed collecting knives, and enjoyed his days at the YMCA. Ron was a member at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Weston and also active with Covenant Community Presbyterian Church. He was curious and always learning new things. Ron will be missed dearly, but his music and melody will play on with his family and friends. He especially loved the songs “Feeling Groovy” (The 59th Street Bridge Song by Simon and Garfunkel) and “Free Falling” by Tom Petty so think of him the next time you hear either.

He was especially proud of and delighted in visiting his two grandsons, Kellen and Kade Ducklow and being there for numerous visits and their growing up milestones. He treasured memories of special trips including multiple trips to Branson, a twenty-fifth anniversary trip with Carmen to Hawaii, honeymoon trips with Kay to Door County and Tuscany, the Holyland with Tad, and the Badlands and NTC trips with Christie and her family.

Raspiller, Linda Lou

My name is Linda Lou Raspiller. I was born in Reddick, IL on July 24, 1945. Linda passed peacefully Nov 9 2025, at home surrounded by loved ones. In 1963 I married the love of my life, Stanley Raspiller. We moved to Wisconsin in 1963, where we raised our four kids on a dairy farm. Those were the best years of my life.

Some of my favorite things were gardening, cooking and baking, and playing cards and board games with my family. There were many challenges in the early years, raising young children, working outside jobs and farming full-time. My various employments included waitressing, nursing aid and store clerk, but my passion was farming and being a mother.

At 35, I developed Parkinsons’ Disease which proved to be a lifelong struggle; however, we continued to farm till I was 55. Then in 2000 we sold the farm and moved to Lime Ridge. I was employed at Sauk County Health Center where I worked till 70 years of age. In 2015 I retired and underwent a revolutionary brain surgery for Parkinson’s, which was a huge success. The following year we moved to Reedsburg to be closer to family. Stan and I had four good years there before he passed at age 84. I continued to live in my own home until 2023, when I then moved to assisted living.

Thanks to my devoted children, some of the highlights of my later life were the times spent travelling through the Western states, visiting many National Parks, a trip to Vermont to see the beautiful fall colors, and a European vacation to Switzerland and Italy (Germany too!) which was a lifelong dream of mine.

In September of 2025, I received a shocking diagnosis of a rare type of blood cancer Plasma Cell Leukemia. It was a relief to hear that this was going to be relatively quick and painless. As unexpected and unsettling as the news was, I am at peace. I feel I have accomplished all I had set out to do in my life.

I am survived by my four beautiful children: Ted (Kris, Jessica, Dalton) Renee (Lamia, Hana) Tony (Kim, Courtney, Brandon) and Amy (Rod)

The family will hold a private celebration of life at a future date.
