Barn fire

Treml barn fire Thursday morning

Fire fighters responded to a barn fire west of Mauston on County Road ‘B’ Thursday morning.  Mauston Fire Chief Kim Hale says, “the fire started in the rear of the building near a wood stove and large pile of wood.  A wagon also burned.  There was no livestock in the outbuilding.”  The New Lisbon Fire Department responded to the George and Ruthie Treml farm to assist.
