Sandra Campfield, 67, Kendall, Wisconsin, is charged with embezzlement by a bank employee. The indictment alleges that between September 2012 and December 2024, Campfield worked at a bank in Elroy, Wisconsin, embezzled money from the certificate of deposit accounts of some of the bank’s account holders, and then used the money for personal expenses.

If convicted, Campfield faces a maximum penalty of 30 years in prison.

The charge against her is the result of an investigation conducted by Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office. Assistant U.S. Attorney Aaron Wegner is handling the case.
