Peper, Paul S. Age 59 of LaValle
Paul S. Peper, age 59, of LaValle, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. He was born on February 21, 1965, in Reedsburg, WI, the son of LaVern and Adeline (Thieding) Peper. Paul was a graduate of Webb High School. He was employed with Grede Foundry for 17 years. Paul milked and worked for his aunt and uncle on their farm for several years and was a former pharmacy driver for Phillips Pharmacy. Most recently, he was a Correctional Officer at the New Lisbon Correctional Institution.
On August 17, 1996, Paul was united in marriage to Linda Drea. This marriage was blessed with a son, Colton. Paul was an avid sports fan. He was a little league coach in Colton’s youth and had fun traveling with the teams to various tournaments. He was a Vikings fan and enjoyed going to Brewer baseball games and Badger football games. Paul was a hunter and fisherman and found relaxation in the outdoors. He had an eye for art and was a talented Taxidermist. He owned and operated Peps Taxidermy where he created unique mounts.
Paul is survived by his wife, Linda of LaValle; son, Colton (Michaela) Peper of Reedsburg; brothers, Doug Peper, Brian (Katie) Peper; sister, Pam Peper, all of Loganville; step-mother, Verdi Peper of Loganville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Pat (Sheryl) Drea of Hillpoint, Lisa (Chris) Calhoun of Elroy, Mike (Mandi) Drea of Cazenovia; nieces and nephews along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and mother and father-in-law, JoAnn and Tom Drea.
Funeral services for Paul Peper will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Monday, April 29, 2024, at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Reedsburg with Pastor Paul Crolius officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, Tuckertown. Visitation will be held on Monday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church. Memorials of remembrance may be made to St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church.

Reichoff, Diane Lynn Age 63 of Friendship
Diane Lynn Reichoff, age 63, of Friendship, Wisconsin passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024, at her home.
A celebration of life will be from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at the Easton Town Hall in Easton, Wisconsin.
Diane was born on March 24, 1961, in Kenosha, Wisconsin to Ronald and Barbara (Stebbins) Smith. She grew up and attended school in Kenosha, and later graduated from Gateway Technical College with her degree in nursing. Diane married Daniel C. Reichoff on May 12, 2005, in Friendship after dating since 2000. She attained her CDL and loved being in the truck alongside Dan.
Diane retired in 2016 from nursing at Northland Home Health after almost 20 years due to her health.
Diane enjoyed reading, card games, board games, watching sports, going to the casino, gardening, and most recently birdwatching. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and nieces & nephews.
Diane was not only Dan’s wife but his best friend as well. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She was a caregiver by nature and will be greatly missed.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents: Ronald & Barbara; two sisters: Susan Jackson & Kathleen Dumas, and brothers-in-law: Joel Reichoff & Claude Kearney.
She is survived by her husband: Dan; children: William (Amanda) Lawrence, Ronald Lawrence (Louise Murch), Justin Reichoff; grandchildren: Rebecca, Tera (McKenzie), Conner, Tyler, Wyatt, Madison, Randi & Caleb; great-grandson: Andrew; twin sister: Donna Kearney; brother: Steven Smith; in-laws: Joseph Jackson, Billy Dumas, Katy (Wayne) Bushmaker, Ellen (Robin) Brown, Tyler Reichoff, Rhett (Monique) Reichoff, Paul Reichoff, Cory (Melody) Reichoff, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Ahlers, Paula Age 66 of New Lisbon
Paula Ahlers passed away peacefully at her home on April 22, 2024, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on June 24, 1957, in Mauston, she was the youngest daughter of Denny and Donna (Bauer) Kennedy. Paula’s life was a testament to her unwavering spirit and the deep bonds she forged with those she held dear.
Paula’s journey through life was shared with her devoted husband of 48 years, Tony Ahlers. Together, they built a family foundation strong enough to withstand any storm. She was a loving mother to her children, April (Jeremy) Lee, Alicia (Kevin) Weinshrott, Ashley (Jeff) Kelley, Allison (Aren) Evans, and her only son, Tony (Jodi) Ahlers. Each of her children carried a piece of her heart and her legacy.
The role of grandmother was one Paula cherished above all else. She beamed with pride for her grandchildren Cole, Brendan, Maddy, Owen, Benjamin, Josiah, Isaac, Amelia, Adrian, Alaina, and Luna. They were the light of her life, and she reveled in every moment spent with them. Her love for her grandkids was boundless and will continue to be felt by them in the years to come.
Paula was the baby sister to Trish Kennedy, Pam (Cassie) Kennedy, and Mickey/Steve (Judy) Kennedy. Her family extended beyond blood to her brothers and sister-in-law, many nieces and nephews, and special friends. She was preceded in death by her infant grandson Noah Paul Weinshrott, whose memory she held close to her heart. She’s surely holding him tight today.
Paula dedicated several years of service to Mac’s in Lake Delton, where she formed lasting friendships and was known for her generosity and warmth. Her colleagues became family.
Described by those who knew her best as loving, kind, and generous, Paula’s impact on the world was profound. She approached life with a heart full of grace and a smile that could light up any room. Her compassion knew no bounds, and her legacy is one of unconditional love and selflessness. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive in the stories we share and the love we continue to give.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 29th, 2024 at 12:00 noon at the New Lisbon Community Center (110 Welch Prairie Rd), in New Lisbon. Needles, William “Bill” D. Age 68 of Necedah
William “Bill” D. Needles Jr., age 68, of Necedah, WI, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024 surrounded by his loving wife, Carol, after a long battle with cancer, at his home in Necedah.
A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Necedah Vets Hall. Robert Allen York, age 68 of Nekoosa, Wisconsin passed away Monday April 15, 2024 at Marshfield Center in Marshfield, Wisconsin from complications of lung disease, with his daughter and sisters by his side.
Memorial services will be Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Arkdale Lutheran Church, Arkdale, Wisconsin. Pastor Terri Skildum will officiate. Visitation will be at 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at the East Arkdale Cemetery, Arkdale, Wisconsin.
Robert was born August 25, 1955, in Mauston, Wisconsin to Clarence and Viola (Pederson) York. As a child he enjoyed growing up on the family farm, especially driving the John Deere tractors. He graduated from Adams-Friendship high school in 1974. After graduation, he worked for Jim Stoerman’s Gas Station, Roche-A-Cri gas, Rhinehart Construction, Rock County Highway Department and Portage County Highway Department before retiring in 2017.
Robert loved being a Dad to Brenda and Grandpa “Grandpa Whiskers” to Gracie, he was a family man and would often spend time with his sisters and brother. He enjoyed being outside enjoying nature and always took pride in his yardwork, making sure he had the best-looking lawn in the neighborhood. Going for a ride to count deer was a regular occurrence and after moving to Nekoosa he had a lot of them in his yard allowing him to sit back and enjoy his little friends daily. When Robert was younger, he loved playing ball for the old mill, he also loved the brewers, he would watch every game, and went to a couple of games with his sister, Evie. He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting with his Dad, Brother & Nephews, snowmobiling, camping when Brenda was small, family reunions and having campfire’s with family and friends. He also enjoyed spending time with and helping his parents before they passed away. He was a “helper” at heart and was always willing to drop everything and help out whenever someone needed something. He loved watching live music, especially watching his son-in-law, Johnny’s bands over the years and liked being his “roadie” and hanging out backstage. Robert was an amazing man, Father, Grandpa and will be missed dearly by many.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence & Viola York, Brother Donald York, Grandparents Irwin & Jessie York and Hans & Hilda Pedersen.

Brobst, Ellen Nylene Age 86 of Necedah
Ellen Nylene Brobst, age 86, of Necedah, Wisconsin, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024, peacefully at home with one of her daughters, granddaughters and a grandson by her side.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024 at 2:00 pm at The First Baptist Church of Necedah, W6295 23rd Street Necedah, WI. The service will be officiated by Pastor Kevin Meinke, and there will be a reception at the church after the service.
Ellen was born January 8, 1938, in Rockford, Iowa, to Darwin Bode and Violet Harty. She lived in a number of little towns in Iowa before moving to Necedah Wisconsin, where she met the love of her life, Dale Brobst. Ellen and Dale were married on May 2, 1967, in Rockford, IL.
Ellen was more at home in the outdoors. She loved hunting, fishing, gardening, bird watching, camping, and her flower gardens. She also loved to craft, paint, and quilting. She made a number of wedding and baby quilts for her family and friends. She was also known in the Necedah area for her fresh baked bread and butterscotch crescents.
Ellen was preceded in death by her parents: Darwin and Violet Bode; husband, Dale Brobst; sister, “Darlene” Audrey Borths; brother, Dan Bode; brother, Ray Bode; sister Kaye Roelofsen; and Grandson, Ian Ryan
Ellen is survived by her 6 children: Hollie (Joe) Baumgart; Roger (Maria) Beenken; JD (Bonnie) Beenken; Jim (Debbie) Beenken; Shannon (Robert) Diehl’s and Wendy Lodahl; 19 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Witkowiak, Kenneth J. Age 84 of Arkdale
Kenneth J. Witkowiak, age 84, of Arkdale, Wisconsin passed away Friday, April 12, 2024, at his home.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Kenneth was born March 4, 1940, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Roman and Josephine (Witucki) Witkowiak. He graduated from high school in Milwaukee and honorably served in the Air National Guard from 1958 until 1965. He worked as a new home construction expeditor in the Milwaukee area and later did lawn care & maintenance.
Kenneth enjoyed being with family and friends, spending time enjoying the outdoors maintaining his lawn and spending time on the lake with friends. He was a member of the Mukwonago Fire Department as a volunteer, the American Legion, the Lions Club, and was A Mukwonago Police Commissioner.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents: Roman & Josephine; brother: Ronald, and aunts & uncles.
Ken was the cherished husband of Peggy; proud father of Susan (Bart) Liegeois, Randy (Vickie), Scott (Tracy), Robert (Michele), Jack (Vickie) Miller; loving grandfather of Jonathan, Justin, Jacob, Jared (Annie), Kamryn, Kyle, McKenzie & Ethan, and beloved brother-in-law of Patricia.

Castellon, Sharon A. Age 83 of Necedah
Sharon A. Castellon, age 83 of Necedah, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2024, at Crest View Nursing Home in New Lisbon, Wisconsin. Born on August 19, 1940, in Rockford, Illinois to Glenn and Esther (Skarning) Easton, Sharon’s zest for life and her adventurous spirit touched the hearts of everyone she met.
Sharon grew up Beloit, where she attended Beloit Memorial High School. After graduation, she had 3 children; Kim, Dennis and Jill. They later moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in1965, where she worked for Babcock and Sutton Law Office. They then moved to Shennington, WI. to be closer to family. She worked for Curran Law Office for 5 years and then she embarked on a fulfilling career with the USDA Rural Development. Her work took her across various states, including Wisconsin, Arizona, and Washington, before she retired in 2018. Despite the demands of her job, Sharon always found time to nurture her relationships and interests, creating a life rich in experiences and love.
Throughout her life, Sharon’s adventurous nature shone brightly. She had a passion for travel and explored many corners of the world, from the majestic fjords of Norway to the vibrant landscapes of Germany and Hawaii, and she cherished the six months she spent each year basking in the warmth of Arizona’s sun. During retirement she took up the game of golf.
Sharon’s younger years were filled with the joy of horseback riding, a hobby that showcased her free spirit and connection with nature. Her home was a hub of hospitality, always brimming with the aroma of delicious food and the sound of laughter. She was a gracious hostess who relished in entertaining guests, celebrating family holidays, and enjoying some wine.
Family was the cornerstone of Sharon’s life. She is survived by her loving children, Kim Linden of Tomah, Dennis (Shelley) Castellon of Necedah, and Jill (Carl) Bezemek of Necedah. Sharon’s legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Nicole (Chris) Reynolds, Steven (Tempestt) Bezemek, Matthew (Jennifer) Linden, Heather (Adam) Carroll, and her adored great-grandchildren, Landon and Owen Reynolds, Sebastian and Harlow Bezemek, and Madelyn Linden. She will also be fondly remembered by her nephews and nieces, Dale (Lori) Russell, Lori (Bill) Beaumont, Robyn (Greg) Agnew, and Glenn Russell.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved grandparents Igvald and Tone Skarning, and her sister and brother-in-law Carol (Bill) Russell. Her absence leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved her, but her memory will forever be a beacon of joy and love.
An active member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Sharon’s faith was a testament to her compassionate and giving nature. She extended her love and care to her church family, contributing her time and energy to various church activities and events. Sharon’s grandchildren brought her immense pride, and she never missed an opportunity to watch them play sports.
Sharon A. Castellon’s life was a beautiful tapestry woven with the threads of love, adventure, and family. As we bid farewell to this remarkable woman, we celebrate the legacy she leaves behind—a legacy of love, laughter, and the courage to embrace life’s journey with open arms.

Willison, Dora Rae Age 76 of Nekoosa
Dora Rae Willison, age 76, of Nekoosa, Wisconsin passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, Wisconsin following a sudden illness.
A Celebration of Dora’s Life will be held from 12 Noon to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at the Ranks Bar in Adams, Wisconsin. Interment will be at the Mt. Repose Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin.
Dora was born October 21, 1947 in Adams, Wisconsin to Willard and Daphene Johnson. She married Steven Roy Willison on June 6, 1968.
Dora enjoyed taking in the beauty of nature, especially bird watching. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
