The Mauston Golden Eagles Boys Basketball team won the first game of their busy road schedule this week defeating La Crosse Logan 82-76 in non-conference action.  Mauston will also have trips to Ripon and Sparta this week.  The game was back in forth but every time La Crosse Logan hit a big shot Mauston would answer back with a big shot of their own.  Andrew Dillin was able to knock down clutch free throws down the stretch as Mauston hung on for the victory.  Will Miller had a career high 28points for the Golden Eagles while Jase Navis finished with 20points and Dillin added 18.  The win improves Mauston to 13-5 on their season while Logan drops to 2-17.  Mauston travels to Ripon Thursday night in a crucial South Central Conference matchup.
