Players to Watch: QB/DB Eli Horack RB Blake Brinkman OL/DL Tristen Resler WR/CB Chris Francke

 

Team Preview: The Necedah Cardinals come into the 2026 season trying to snap a 38game losing streak.  I think the Cardinals will have a couple chances to do so including in week1 vs Osseo-Fairchild and again against New Lisbon.  Eli Horack (19-49-4-376 3tds) will try to lead the offense at quarterback.  Crhis Francke might be his top target.  Tristen Resler will anchor the interior for the Cardinals.   

 

Key to Success: Staying positive.  Losing 38games in a row can lower team morale.  If Necedah can stay positive I can see them winning at least a game if not 2 this year.  

 

Game to watch:  Week 4 Friday September 11th New Lisbon (home) 7pm     

It was a great game last year and might be the only winnable game on the schedule for both New Lisbon and Necedah.
