OCONOMOWOC, Wis. (AP) – A Milwaukee man has organized a fundraiser for families of wounded veterans throughout the country.
     More than 150,000 Harley-Davidson owners will help transport an American flag through 48 states over 100 days, raising money at dealership events and celebrations along the way.
     Bill Sherer started the fundraiser. Last summer, the 29-year-old rode through every state east of the Mississippi on his Harley, carrying the flag and raising money for the families of wounded veterans.
     The first leg of tour leaves Friday to Chicago from Oconomowoc’s Wisconsin Harley-Davidson after a morning ceremony.
