MILWAUKEE (AP) – Great Lakes Distillery says it’s producing the first bourbon whiskey in the state since Prohibition.
     The Milwaukee-based company says it plans to sell its 263 bottles of bourbon at a release party on Saturday. Great Lakes says it’s begun aging several more batches, but those won’t be ready for awhile.
     The company is the first distillery in the state since Prohibition and it says its new bourbon whiskey might be the first ever Wisconsin bourbon.
