MADISON, Wis. (AP) – Wisconsin senior cornerback Devin Smith is

nursing a left foot injury, and coach Bret Bielema has yet to learn if he will play again this season for the

seventh-ranked Badgers.

Bielema tweeted Sunday night that Smith would be out for an

“extended period of time” and said Monday that Smith’s season is

in jeopardy.

Smith was hurt in the first quarter of Wisconsin’s 35-0 win over

Oregon State on Saturday. He came back to the sideline using

crutches with a foot cast and wrap.
