MADISON, Wis. (AP) – Junior center Rachel Rygh scored 15 points and No. 3 Black Hawk held top-ranked Minong Northwood to just three baskets in the second half in a 42-31 victory in a WIAA Division 4 state semifinal Thursday at the Kohl Center.
The Warriors (27-1) won their 26th consecutive game and will make their state final debut Saturday against No. 2 Wausau Newman.  Northwood (25-1) held a 21-17 halftime lead in its first state appearance after holding Black Hawk to 3-for-21 shooting in the first half. But the tables turned as the Evergreens shot just 3-for-21 from the floor and committed 14 of their 23 turnovers in the second half.
The Warriors, who got all but three of their points from their five starters, outscored Northwood 13-2 in the third quarter to take control.
