The Mauston boys’ basketball team traveled to Bloomer last night for the first round of tournament action, and had their season come to an end with a 58-36 loss. Mauston was led in scoring by Kyle Voss who had 10 points, and Tarren Hall who finished with 9 points. The Golden Eagles end the season with a 5-18 record.

Elsewhere from last night, in division two; Onalaska beat Tomah, 60-54, and DeForest topped Baraboo, 65-46.

In division three; Wisconsin Dells upset Nekoosa, 65-63, Poynette heat Wautoma, 77-58, and Westfield beat Adams-Friendship 34-23. Westfield will play at top-seeded Lodi on Friday, while Wisconsin Dells will travel to Poynette.

In division four; Necedah defeated Melrose-Mindoro, 66-61, and will play at top-seeded Blair-Taylor on Friday; while Darlington beat Brookwood, 67-55.

In division five; Bangor beat Wonewoc-Center, 85-53, and will face New Lisbon on Friday after the Rockets beat Royall last night, 56-38. And Hillsboro defeated Cashton, 51-31, and will host La Farge in the second round on Friday.
