The Golden Eagles girls’ volleyball team travelled to Wisconsin Dells Thursday night to take on the Chiefs in South Central Conference action. The Dells took the first two sets (25-17, 25-10), before the Mauston girls battled back to take the third set (28-26). The Chiefs would close out the match in the fourth set (25-8). Wisconsin Dells improves to 13-5 overall and remains undefeated in the South Central Conference with a 3-0 record. Mauston falls to 4-9 overall and 1-3 in conference play. The Mauston JV team dropped all three sets to the Chiefs (25-13, 25-16, 25-22), as well as the JV Reserve (25-18, 25-19, 25-11). The Golden Eagles will host Nekoosa next Tuesday night in South Central Conference action.
