Brewers sending $100,000 to charity
MILWAUKEE (AP) – The Milwaukee Brewers are sending $100,000
raised at their annual offseason winter event to the club’s
charitable arm.
Brewers Community Foundation director Cecelia Gore says the more
than 10,000 fans that came to the Jan. 31 event helped them raise
money that will be used in the community to benefit children and
their families.
The new foundation began last month, replacing Brewers
Charities.
