After scoring just two runs total in the three previous games, the Milwaukee Brewers tallied five earlier today in a 5-0 win over Tampa Bay to salvage the final game in a three-game series with the Rays. Martin Maldanado had three hits and four rbi’s to lead the Brewers attack while starting and winning pitcher Yovani Gallardo tossed seven shutout innings, allowing just three hits with just one walk and five strike-outs. The first place Brewers take Thursday off before opening a weekend series with St. Louis on Friday night.
