MILWAUKEE (AP) – Yuniesky Betancourt has been a pleasant surprise for the Milwaukee Brewers so far this season.  Acquired in December 2010 as part of the Zack Greinke trade, Betancourt was almost universally reviled and his free-swinging ways did little to change any first impressions. The team parted ways with him after last season, but brought him back late in camp.  Betancourt has become a key component of the Brewers’ offense and filled holes on defense. Through 30 games, Betancourt was hitting .277 and tied with Ryan Braun for the team lead with seven home runs.  Betancourt and the Brewers begin a two-game series against the Texas Rangers tonight.
