Ruth L. Pugh, age 90, of rural LaValle, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2014, at her family home, where she was also born on July 27, 1923.

Ruth is survived by her children; Joyanne (Roger) McEndree of Lime Ridge, Marilyn (Robert) Storandt of LaValle, James (Shelly) Pugh of Wisconsin Dells; 12 Grandchildren; April (Craig) Shanks, Joel (Kelly) Geisser, James (Karen) Pugh, Melissa Nichols and special friend Jody Nielson, Melanie (Greg) Neumaier, Angela (Sam) Kujak, Kevin Storandt, Lora McEndree, John (Melissa) Rogers, David (Michelle) Pugh, Amanda Rogers and special friend Michael Gullo, and Marty (Rachel) Pugh. 19 Great-Grandchildren; Katelyn Shanks, Ashley (Mike) Malder, Austin and Logan Geisser, McKenzie and Caden Pugh, Emma Dorow, Alex and Lauren Delmore, Nick and Clair Nielson, Kendra and Gage Neumaier, Hailey Philipp, Maddox Storandt, Trenton McEndree, and John, Lily and Haddy Rogers. One Great-Great Grandaughter; Lucy Malder.

In-laws; Charlotte (Carl) McAfee of LaValle, Ruth Ellen Pugh of PA, Marion Howe of Council Bluffs, IA; Several nieces and nephews along with other relatives and friends.

We honor Ruth’s life with a service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church, rural LaValle, with Pastor Robert Butler officiating.   Burial will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at the church.  Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church. The Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
