MADISON, Wis. (AP) – A man who began his newspaper career as a paper boy has been named publisher of the Wisconsin State Journal in Madison. John Humenik leaves his job as president and publisher of the Arizona Daily Star to take the job held by Bill Johnston, who announced his retirement in October and leaves the post on Friday. As publisher, the 50-year-old Humenik will oversee the newspaper’s entire operation, including advertising, circulation, news gathering and digital products.┬áSate Journal’s ( ) print circulation is about 76,000 daily and more than 100,000 on Sundays., the website it shares with The Capital Times, has more than 10 million page views per month.
