MILWAUKEE (AP) – Mother Nature needs a new calendar – we’re well into spring but there’s snow in the Wisconsin forecast.  The National Weather Service says a series of storms will sweep across the state through Thursday, bringing heavy rain, snow and ice. The agency says there’s a risk of power outages, treacherous road conditions and flooding.  Areas north of the Interstate 90-94 corridor could get 6 inches of snow, while areas to the south could see 1 to 3 inches. West-central Wisconsin could see a quarter-inch of ice accumulation.   The weather service says parts of central and southern Wisconsin may get 1 to 3 inches of rain through Wednesday evening. Areas in that region are under a flood watch.  The agency reminds you to stock your homes and cars with emergency supplies.
