Teens arrested following 2-county chase
TOWN OF PRENTICE, Wis. (AP) – Three teens are under arrest after leading officers on a chase across two northern Wisconsin counties. Authorities say speeds topped 110 mph Tuesday night during a 30-mile chase through Lincoln and Price counties. WAOW-TV (http://bit.ly/1kUtYmJ ) reports the chase began after an officer conducting a security check on a Tomahawk business noticed a suspicious car with three people inside. The car left the scene quickly and sped down Highway 8 with deputies in pursuit. The chase ended in the Price County Town of Prentice when officers put down tire spikes. Authorities say two of the teens taken into custody are 17 and the other is 16. Deputies say marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found in the vehicle.
