Neillsville police officer fatally shoots subject
NEILLSVILLE, Wis. (AP) – Neillsville police say an officer has shot and killed an armed suspect during a confrontation. Authorities say the officer responded to a domestic disturbance call about 2:30 a.m. Friday in Neillsville. Police say the officer was confronted by a subject with a weapon and shot the suspect. The subject was taken to a hospital in Neillsville, then flown to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield where the person died. The Clark County Sheriff’s Department and state agents are investigating.
