Funeral Home Drugs
MARKESAN, Wis. (AP) – A mortician accused of dealing drugs at her family’s Markesan funeral home will stand trial. Twenty-five-year-old Melissa Wachholz has pleaded not guilty to drug charges in Green Lake County Court, including maintaining a drug trafficking place. She’s waived her right to a preliminary hearing. A criminal complaint says Wachholz told investigators she traveled to Milwaukee every day to buy five to eight grams of heroin for her personal use and to sell. The Reporter (http://fondul.ac/Z32ZEu ) says Waccholz has worked at the funeral home with her sister since 2004.
