Bond set for woman accused of killing husband
FOND DU LAC, Wis. (AP) – A charging document says a Fond du Lac woman accused of fatally shooting her husband told police the two struggled over a gun in the bathroom of their home and it fired twice. Eve Nance is being held in the Fond du Lac County Jail on $300,000 bond. The 37-year-old woman is charged with first-degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse. Police say the naked body of Timothy Nance was found in a wooded area in Milwaukee on Thanksgiving Day. A criminal complaint says he had been shot twice in the head. During a hearing Wednesday, Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney asked for $1 million cash bond. Public defender Margaret Vinz asked for $5,000 cash bail.
