MADISON, Wis. (AP) – More than half-a-dozen authors are set to speak at a southeastern Wisconsin historical over the remainder of 2013. Old World Wisconsin’s line-up includes John Zimm, who put together “This Wicked Rebellion: Wisconsin Civil War Soldiers Write Home;” Jim Draeger, co-author of “Bottoms UP: A Toast to Wisconsin’s Historic Bars and Breweries;” Nick Hoffman and Jesse Grant, authors of “Wheel Fever: How Wisconsin Became a Great Bicycling State;” and Jerry Apps, author of “The Quiet Season: Remembering Country Winters.” Zimm will kick off the visits on Sunday afternoon. Other visits are scheduled to take place in September, October and December. A full slate of authors and dates is available on Old World Wisconsin’s website. Old World Wisconsin features dozens of historic buildings. It’s located just outside Eagle.
