CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (AP) – Organizers have canceled an air show planned in western Wisconsin after federal budget cuts grounded the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels.  The Blue Angels were to headline the Chippewa Valley Air Show this September. But the military grounded its jet and demonstration teams because of automatic federal budget cuts.  Matt Hill, chief operating officer for the Chippewa Valley Council of the Boy Scouts of America, says the decision to cancel the air show was made at a meeting Tuesday night. The organization planned to operate the event at the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport.  Hill tells the Leader-Telegram (http://bit.ly/103rjWS ) the decision is disappointing to the Scouts. Hill says the Boy Scouts will apply to bring a different military jet team to the area in 2014 or 2015.
