Gregar, the Associate Director of the Tomah Veterans Affairs Medical Center will be retiring after more than 36-years of federal service.  Gregar was appointed as the Associate Director on December 7th, 2008 and is responsible for the administrative operations of the facility.  Prior to her

appointment as the Associate Director on December 7th, 2008 and is responsible for the administrative operations of the facility.  Prior to her appointment at Tomah VAMC, she served as the Deputy Director of Patient Financial Services, a consolidated patient account center for Veterans Integrated Service Network 12, in Madison, Wisconsin from October 2006 to December 2008.  Gregar began her VA career as a clinical dietitian at the Tomah VA and served as the Chief of Nutrition and Food Service, support service line manager and the Administrative Assistant to the Director.  Gregar received her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Food Science and Nutrition from the University of Wisconsin–Stout in Menominie, Wisconsin.  She is a registered dietitian and member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.  Gregar completed the VISN 12 Leadership Development Program, Executive Career Field Program, and Healthcare Leadership Institute.  The public is invited to celebrate Gregar’s retirement by attending a retirement tea on November 1st, 2012 from 2pm -4pm at 500 East Veterans Street, Building 407, Room 1724.  Refreshments will be provided.  There will also be a retirement dinner November 9th, 2012 at the Tee Pee Supper Club, 812 Superior Avenue, Tomah starting at 5:30pm.  Buffet dinner will be available at $19 per person.  Please RSVP no later than November 1st, 2012, by email to Rachel.Fleming@va.gov.  For more information please contact the Tomah VA Public Affairs Office at 608-372-7759 or be email scott.farley@va.gov.  Cameras will be permitted in the facility.
