A New Lisbon man has been cited for issuing worthless checks.  Police said in late August and early September 45-year old Richard Ryan wrote three checks to a liquor store on Mauston’s east side totaling almost $218.  Ryan was sent a 5-day notice asking for payment.  The Mauston business is asking for a total restitution of just over $253 which includes a $35 bad check fee.  Ryan’s fines totaled $660.60.
