Woman fell asleep

A New Lisbon woman was cited as a result of one-vehicle accident Wednesday morning.  The deputy said about 5:30am 24-year old Paula Davis was traveling west on Highway 12/16.  As she approached a slight curve near 24^th Avenue in the Town of Kildare, Davis fell asleep.  The 2001 Dodge Intrepid traveled straight into the ditch continued onto a field access road and stopped in a snow filled ditch.  Davis was uninjured.  She was cited for ‘inattentive driving’ and ‘operating without insurance’.  Her fines totaled $387.40.
