From the Wood County Dispatch Center:  Snow is expected Wednesday afternoon through Thursday.  A complex storm system developing over the Midwest will bring wintry precipitation to the area starting this afternoon.  The initial band of precipitation will fall as snow but change to freezing drizzle in the wake of the initial snow band.  Light snow or freezing drizzle can be expected across most of the area overnight changing back to all snow by midday Thursday.  Snow will be heavier in east central Wisconsin overnight and Thursday morning.  Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 4pm Wednesday afternoon to 6pm CST Thursday.  Snow accumulation of 3 to 4-inches is expected by Thursday morning.  The snow will lead to slippery roadways and hazardous travel conditions.  The onset of snow during the afternoon may lead to difficult commute home from work Wednesday.
