Mill Haven Foods in New Lisbon has made a donation to the Wisconsin FFA Foundation that will benefit over 19,000 FFA student members across the state. Wisconsin FFA Foundation Executive Director Sara Schoenborn says that Mill Haven Foods’s donation of $1,000 will help support the Agricultural Processing Proficiency Award Program and the Annual Fund. Ricki Lowe, Marking Coordinator for Mill Haven Foods, says that FFA offers many opportunities for students to further their knowledge about agriculture. “We are an agricultural business, so we strongly value FFA and agricultural education,” said Lowe.  Schoenborn said thanks to the support from Mill Haven Foods; FFA members are able to prepare for successful careers in the science, business and technological aspects of the agriculture, food and natural resources industry. They take what they learn in the classroom and combine it with hands-on experience and leadership skills.
