A Westby driver was injured as a result of a two-vehicle accident Thursday morning.  Vernon County Sheriff John Spears said, “about 7:30am Lerie Alstad Van Ells was traveling west on East Old Town Road in the Town of Viroqua when the vehicle crossed the center line and struck an on-coming vehicle being operated by a LaFarge man, Lucas Liles.  Van Ells was initially transported to Vernon Memorial Hospital and later transferred to Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse.  Lilies was uninjured.”
