A Warrens man has been charged with bail jumping and possessing/illegally obtaining a prescription. According to the criminal complaint, an officer of the Mauston Police Department was called out to Walgreens for suspicious prescription fill attempt. One of the pharmacists told the officer that 23-year-old Travis Stewart tried to fill a prescription for two different drugs. He said he was concerned when he saw the amount was 111 for one of the drugs prescribed. The pharmacist called the prescribing doctor, and he told the pharmacist that he wrote it for 11 and he didn’t write a prescription for the other drug. The officer called the doctor and he told him that Stewart came to him with some pain, and he prescribed the one drug for a trial run, but didn’t write him one for the other drug. Stewart has an initial appearance set for later this month.
