Vernon County Sheriff John Spears Report
6/3 Glen Olson, Viola, was backing up on private property, Town of Viroqua, when he struck a legally parked vehicle belonging to Michael Johnson, La Farge. No injuries were reported.
6/3 Daniel Due, Viola, was turning left from a private driveway onto Church Road, Town of Kickapoo. He was unable to see the oncoming vehicle driven by Delbert Miller, Soldiers Grove, due to roadside grass. The trailer being towed by Due was totally damaged by the ensuing crash, but no injuries were claimed by either driver.
6/3 A burglary occurred on State Highway 33, Town of Hillsboro. Entry was made to a locked residence and cash was stolen.
6/4 Two additional burglaries were reported in the Village of Stoddard:
1) Cash from a residence on Hillview Drive was taken, possibly as long ago as Easter;
2) A snowblower last night from a garage on North Oak Street.
