SHERIFF JOHN SPEARS REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ONGOING ACTIVITIES FOR THE YEAR AND NARRATIVE EXCERPTS FROM THE WEEK ENDING August 25, 2014.

8/18  Aluminum wire, window frames, and other assorted recyclable aluminum items were stolen from the Town of Stark building, Corps Road, La Farge.

8/20  While attending LarryFest, Town of Wheatland, Kristin Piotrowski reported the theft of a gray and black backpack from her vehicle.  Her wallet was in her backpack, along with schoolwork and medications.

08/25                2 reportable car/deer (other animal) crashes:

Michelle Heitman, Viola, on State Highway 131, Town of Stark;

Cynthia Hanson, Viroqua, on Lovaas Ridge Road, Town of Christiana.
