Vernon County Sheriff John Spears reports
6/10 Ashley Goodwin, Viroqua, lost control of her vehicle on Dodson Hollow Road, Town of Coon. She went off road, down an embankment, through a fence and overturned one time. She reported minor injuries.
6/14 Justin McClelland, Viroqua, failed to stop at the intersection of Apple Lane and Orchard Road, Town of Viroqua. He crossed Orchard Road, striking the ditch, going airborne and landing in a field. He reported no injuries.
6/15 Seven incidents of mailbox vandalism were reported on Cedar Valley Road, Town of Bergen.
6/16 Christina Meyer, Viroqua, was attempting to turn from Erickson Lane onto State Highway 56, Town of Jefferson. Meyer said because of the high weeds she could not see the vehicle driven by Helen Howell, Viroqua, who was traveling West on State Highway 56. No injuries occurred in the ensuing crash.
6/16 Todd Stephans, Holmen, was eastbound on US Highway 14, Town of Franklin, when the front tire came off of his vehicle. Dawn Myhre was westbound on US Highway 14 when the Stephans tire struck the front driver’s side of the vehicle. Neither driver nor their passengers suffered any injuries.
