The Juneau County Extension Office has planned upcoming pasture walks.  The August pasture walk is Saturday, August 25th, 2012, starting at 1pm at the Daniel Lambright dairy farm located two miles east of Coloma on Highway 21.  The main topic for discussion will be managed grazing.  A Living Off the Land Graziers pasture walk will be held next month on Friday, September 7th, 2012, starting at 1pm at the Bob and Judi Pesz farm on County Road ‘G’ near Wonewoc.  The topic of discussion will be general traits of grasses.  For more information, contact the UW-Extension Office in Mauston at 847-9329.
