“Adams County residents will be able to rid their homes of expired, unused, or unwanted prescription drugs this Saturday, October 26, 2013,” says Sheriff Sam Wollin.  From 10am until 2pm the public will be able to drop-off potentially dangerous prescription medications at the Springville Town Hall on Highway 13 or at the Town of Rome Police Department on Alpine Drive.  The service is free and anonymous with no questions asked.  Sheriff Wollin said, “This is the safest way for people to dispose of unwanted medications and we will continue to work with the Drug Enforcement Administration to offer this service to the citizens of Adams County.”
