Two young children were injured as a result of a two-vehicle accident in Monroe County Monday afternoon.  Sheriff Peter Quirin said, “about 4:45pm 31-year old Kara Lorenz was traveling west on Highway 21 at Flagstaff Road in the Town of Greenfield.  As she signaled to make a left turn and slowed, a U.S. Postal Truck being driven by a La Crosse man, 47-year old Richard Johnson, did not see the Lorenz vehicle slow and struck the back of the vehicle.  Two children were injured, 1-year old Tucker Lorenz and 3-year old Max Lorenz, were transported by Tomah Ambulance to Tomah Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
