On Tuesday morning, a crash occurred on I-90 at milepost 60 near New Lisbon, which involved four injuries. According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, the right lane of traffic was closed for a bridge inspection and the maintenance crew traffic was passing the work zone in left lane at a slower pace than usual. 41-year-old Ziad Asim of Edina, Minnesota was traveling in the left lane when his vehicle was struck from behind by another vehicle driven by Pawel Albert. Asim and his passengers were taken to Hess Memorial Hospital for minor injuries. Albert had also had minor injuries, but was not medically transported.
