Two Mauston men have been charged with receiving stolen property.  According to the police report, last weekend 17-year old Chad Bevan and 23-year old Colton Whitaker were allegedly in possession of several items stolen from a residence on Ponderosa Drive on Mauston’s west side.  The owner, a patient at Mile Bluff Medical Center, was able to identify the stolen items from photos taken by Mauston police.  Bevan was arrested.  During a court hearing Tuesday, bail was set at a $1000 signature bond.  Whitaker is summoned to appear in court on December 12th, 2012.
