Two Elroy men have been charged with being a party to burglary, operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent, and criminal damage to property.  According to the deputy’s report, in the early morning hours of Sunday, August 11th, 2013, 21-year old Jamie Jelinek and 22-year old Gary Stokely allegedly entered an unlocked residence on Harbor Drive in the Town of Germantown.  Initially the two had entered the residence to wait for Jelinek’s ex-girlfriend, Hayley Hart.  All three had been drinking earlier at one of the bars along the lake.  While waiting, Jelinek received a text from Hart stating she was going to jail for driving the car into a mailbox.  That’s when the two men allegedly decided to steal a motorcycle, cash, electronics, a firearm, among other items.  The motorcycle was recovered at the Fowler Cemetery on County Road PP in the Town of Plymouth.  Jelinek had allegedly driven the bike, crashed it, and stashed it in the cemetery against a fence.  The other items were recovered at two residences in the City of Elroy.  During court hearings, Jelinek’s bail was set at a $1000 cash bond.  Stokely’s bail was set at a $10,000 signature bond.  Both men are to have no contact with each other, the victim, or Hart.
