Two Chicago men charged
Two Chicago men have been charged in Juneau County with possession of THC. According to the complaint, last month 25-year old Demontae Daniels and 23-year old Arnell Edwards were passengers in a vehicle stopped on Interstate 90/94 at mile marker 76 west bound in Juneau County. Both Daniels and Edwards allegedly had baggies of marijuana in their possession. The driver, 25-year old Christopher Laird of Riverdale, Illinois, admitted to the trooper of taking a couple of hits off a blunt while driving. After performing Field Sobriety Tests, Laird was arrested for drugged driving. He was cited for OWI-1st offense and speeding. His fines totaled $1067.40.
