Two arrested on cocaine charges
Mauston police arrested two men Friday night on drug charges. Police Chief Mark Messer said, “just after 9pm search warrants were executed on a room at the
Alaskan Inn and Suites on Mauston’s east side and on a vehicle at that location. After the search was conducted, approximately $3600 in cash was seized, as well as 32.63 grams of crack cocaine in several individually wrapped plastic bags valued at approximately $3000, and also a stolen handgun. Also recovered in the motel room was a stolen flat screen TV, which had been taken from a City of Mauston residence. Arrested were 35-year old Ronnie Watson of Milwaukee and 26-year old Antwaun Gray of Waukesha. Each has been tentatively charged with felony possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, two counts of receiving stolen property, possession of a Schedule II narcotics, and possession of THC and drug paraphernalia. Gray was additionally charged with bail jumping.” Assisting Mauston police was Yaro, the Mauston PD drug dog, along with the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office, and the Juneau County START Team.
