Semi driver fails to yield right-of-way at ethanol plant. The deputy said last Thursday 75-year old Ronald Zenner of Athens, Wisconsin was exiting the driveway at the ethanol plant in the Town of Necedah. As he turned south onto Highway 80, Zenner crossed the center line and made contact with a north bound grain truck making a left turn into the driveway. Zenner stopped for a moment then continued. Plant personnel contacted authorities. The deputy stopped the semi at the former Best Power parking lot. Zenner told the deputy he had been dealing with a cold. He had apparently bumped a pole on the ethanol plant property the day before. Zenner was cited for failure to yield right-of-way and fined $183.30. No one was injured.
