Representative Tony Kurtz (R-Wonewoc) was sworn in as the state representative for Wisconsin’s 50th Assembly District yesterday afternoon as the State Assembly began its 104th session.

Kurtz is an organic farmer from Wonewoc, WI who spent over 20 years in the US Army as an attack helicopter pilot.

“It is truly an honor to be representing the people of the 50th Assembly District,” said Rep. Kurtz. “I am humbled and excited to begin working on behalf of my friends and neighbors to ensure the voices of rural Wisconsinites are heard.”

Rep. Kurtz will serve as the Vice-Chair of the Assembly Committee on Health, as well as serve as a member of the Assembly Committees on Agriculture, Corrections, Environment, Rural Development, and Veterans and Military Affairs.
