Tomah Memorial Foundation Helps Boys & Girls Club Complete Triple Play
Tomah area boys and girls will learn how to eat right, keep fit and form position relationships thanks to a $1,500 donation from the Tomah Memorial Foundation. The philanthropic arm of Tomah Memorial Hospital has stepped forward to support a worldwide wellness program called Triple Play. Foundation president Pete Reichardt says residents and businesses that take part in the foundation’s various events throughout the year help the group support such health related programs. “Through our many generous donators, through our golf tournament and other events is utilized funds to help make a difference in our community,” said Reichardt. “Boys and Girls Club is a great example of that and through the Triple Play Program and other events, they are really helping the youth make good decisions, and they’re creating good health habits, which is one of the core purposes of the Tomah Memorial Hospital Foundation.” Triple Play is the largest wellness endeavor ever undertaken by the Boys and Girls Clubs of America available to some 4,000 clubs. Officials say about 85 Tomah Boys and Girls Club members will take part.
