A 26 year old Tomah man is facing drug charges in Juneau County.  On November 26th a Mauston Police Officer observed a vehicle driven by Steven Champney.  Records showed Champney had his driving status revoked.  The officer followed Champney who eventually pulled his vehicle to the side of the street and attempted to walk across the street.  The officer instructed him to go back to the vehicle.  The officer could smell an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.  A search of the vehicle turned up multiple drug and drug related items including a small gem bag containing methamphetamine, a larger bag containing THC, and other drug related items.  Champney was transported to the Juneau County Jail where he faces charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of THC, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
