A Tomah man received life-threatening injuries as a result of a two-vehicle accident Friday afternoon.  Monroe County Sheriff Pete Quirin said, “about 3pm 19-year old Mackenzie Dunn was stopped on County Road ‘CM’ and Highway 16 waiting to turn left onto Highway 16.  Dunn turned left into the path of a 1997 Freightliner dump truck being operated by a Necedah man, 54-year old Kallien Parker.  Parker attempted to avoid the collision by veering left but both vehicle collided resulting in the Dunn Ford Taurus coming to rest in the south ditch.”  Dunn was initially transported to Tomah Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries and later med-flown to Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse.  The driver of the dump truck, Kallien Parker, was not hurt in the crash.
