Threatened girlfriend with rifle
A rural New Lisbon man has been charged as a result of a domestic disturbance. The deputy said last Thursday afternoon he responded to a residence on County Road ‘M’ in the Town of Clearfield. Following an investigation, 22-year old Jacob Nicholson was arrested for allegedly threatening his girlfriend and brother with a rifle for not cleaning the house. He has been charged with 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety, misdemeanor battery, and disorderly conduct. During a court hearing, bail was set at a $5000 signature bond and Nicholson is to have no contact with the victims.
