A Vesper man was arrested in the City of Adams for possession of THC-2nd offense. Police said early Tuesday morning about 2am 25-year old Matthew Jakobi was operating a motor vehicle in the City of Adams with no front bumper and a very loud exhaust. The officer initiated a traffic stop and detected an odor consistent with marijuana. A search of the vehicle revealed a baggie of marijuana in the center console. Initially both the driver and passenger denied it belonged to either one of them. But then Jakobi admitted the marijuana was his. He was handcuffed and transported to the Adams County Jail.
